Practice Policies
Our Policies & Guidelines
We want your experience to be as smooth and comfortable as possible. Please take a moment to review our practice policies.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee. We understand that life happens — please reach out as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time. Sessions cannot be extended due to late arrival. Please contact us if you are running behind so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Telehealth Sessions
Telehealth sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You will receive a link before your session. Please ensure you are in a private, quiet location with a stable internet connection.
Confidentiality
Everything discussed in session is confidential. There are limited exceptions required by law, including imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected child or elder abuse, and court orders. We will discuss these limits in your first session.
Communication Between Sessions
For non-urgent matters, please use our client portal or email. For urgent concerns, please call our office. We are not an emergency service — if you are in crisis, please call 988 or 911.
Social Media & Dual Relationships
To protect your privacy and maintain professional boundaries, we do not accept friend or follow requests from current or former clients on personal social media. Our professional pages are public and available for informational purposes.
